Aura reading

The aura concept is ancient (Christian saints' halos, Buddhist halos, subtle field in tantric yoga). Its modern reading developed in the 20th century with theosophical currents (Charles Leadbeater, "Man Visible and Invisible" 1902) and more recently with "Kirlian" photographs (electro-photonic effect of fingers).

The aura would be a multi-layered energy field surrounding the human body, whose colors and intensity would vary according to emotional, physical and spiritual state. Practitioners would develop fine perception of this field through training, or use "aura cameras" that interpret electrodermal conductance.

30 to 60 minutes. The practitioner carefully observes your energy field (sometimes in dim light), shares their perceptions (dominant colors, bright or dull zones), and proposes a symbolic interpretation. With camera: polaroid photo with color interpretation.

Spiritual curiosity, introspective approach, search for another perspective on one's current situation, exploration of the subtle dimension.

The aura as a measurable energy phenomenon is not scientifically demonstrated. Kirlian cameras capture the real electro-photonic effect, but its interpretation as "aura" is arbitrary. Intuitive readings come from subjective perception.

Be cautious of practitioners who make "diagnoses" or predict the future based on aura. Prefer approaches that present themselves as "symbolic mirror" rather than "scientific truth". Typical fees: $40 to $120 per reading.
