LaHoChi

LaHoChi was revealed in 1991 by Satchamar (United States) who presents it as an ancient Sino-Tibetan energy technique. It has been disseminated worldwide since the 2000s and remains a modern practice of Eastern inspiration. Its adherents consider it transmits a "light of pure love".

According to LaHoChi, the practitioner channels a very high vibrational frequency associated with unconditional love. Transmission is done by initiation by a LaHoChi Master. Three training levels exist. Like Reiki, the practitioner serves as a channel and does not project their own energy.

A session lasts 45 to 75 minutes. Lying clothed, the practitioner places their hands on or above precise areas of the body. Reported sensations are often intense: warmth, vibrations, emotional releases, feeling of softness. Daily self-practice is possible once initiated.

Stress, anxiety, emotional blockages, support during life transitions, spiritual search, support during trials (grief, separation, illness). To be considered as support.

No formal scientific research. The felt benefits likely relate to mechanisms common to all hand-laying practices: deep relaxation, feeling of being cared for, possible placebo effect, quality of touch.

Ask for the initiation level (1, 2 or Master) and the teaching master. Prefer humble practitioners who do not promise cure. Typical fees: $60 to $100 per session. Full initiations: $200 to $500 per level.
