Subtle bodies rebalancing

Work on the etheric, emotional, mental and causal planes.

Subtle energeticsTheosophical framework

Origin and history

The concept of "subtle bodies" (etheric, emotional, mental, causal, sometimes 7 or 9 bodies) comes mainly from the Western theosophical tradition (Helena Blavatsky, late 19th century), itself inspired by Indian Upanishads and tantric yoga. Expanded model popularized by Alice Bailey, Rudolf Steiner and some esoteric currents.

Principles and foundations

Beyond the physical body, the human being would have several "bodies" of more subtle matter, each with its function: etheric (vital energy, double of the physical body), emotional (feelings), mental (thoughts), causal (essence-soul). Imbalances on one plane would affect others. Rebalancing works simultaneously on these planes through perception and energetic intention.

Typical session flow

60 to 90 minutes. Lying clothed. The practitioner evaluates by subtle perception the state of each body, identifies imbalance zones, applies rebalancing techniques: guided visualizations, energy passes on different planes, directed intention, sometimes crystals or sounds.

Main indications

Search for body-mind-emotion-spiritual integration, support of deep transitions, spiritual exploration, feeling of inner "fragmentation".

Contraindications and precautions

Not suitable for acute psychiatric disorders or dissociation crises — prefer professional therapeutic follow-up. For very sensitive people: choose an experienced practitioner to avoid intense unsupervised feelings.

State of research

The subtle bodies model has no scientific validation as an anatomical reality. It is a useful symbolic and phenomenological framework for certain introspective explorations, but not to be confused with a medical description.

How to choose a practitioner

Prefer practitioners trained in a coherent tradition (theosophy, tantric yoga, advanced Reiki), with several years of practice and a humble stance. Typical fees: $80 to $150 per session.
