5 simple habits to anchor holistic health in your daily life
Holistic health is the balance between body, mind, emotions and social connection. You cultivate it through small habits, not revolutions.
1. Walk 20 minutes a day, outside. Not for performance — for natural light contact. Your circadian rhythm and mood will thank you.
2. Drink a large glass of water on waking. Before coffee. This is the most underrated habit for digestion, skin, morning energy.
3. Breathe 4-6-8 three times before meals. Inhale 4 seconds, hold 6, exhale 8. Activates the parasympathetic system and improves digestion.
4. Cut all screens 30 minutes before bed. Blue light delays melatonin. Read, stretch, talk.
